Normal visiting is until 8pm every day. There are protected mealtimes in place to ensure all patients and residents have time and dignity during meals. Visiting is not permitted during these times (detailed below) unless the visitor is providing assistance with the meal, which should be prearranged with the unit manager and is very welcome. The hospital would prefer however if morning visiting could be kept to a minimum, as this is peak clinical care time. Children are very welcome to visit the hospital as long as they are adequately supervised at all times. Protected Mealtimes are as follows:
Breakfast: | 8-10am |
Lunch: | 12:15-1:30pm |
Dinner: | 4:30-5:45pm |
Leopardstown Park Hospital is situated in pleasant surroundings just off the Leopardstown/Brewery Road Roundabout. The local landmark is Leopardstown Racecourse, which is just next door. Entrance is via the South County Business Park, from where the hospital is signposted. The Hospital is well served with transport links with the Luas stop adjacent to the grounds and the M50 close by.
There is ample car parking for visitors within the hospital grounds. There is free parking for 2 hours and charges thereafter. If there is a requirement for visitors to stay longer than 2 hours, please contact reception and they will be able to assist. Visitors are requested not to obstruct free passage on the hospital roadways or occupy reserved spaces which may be required during an emergency or for those with disabilities. Please obey No Parking signs, yellow boxes etc. Cars are parked at owners own risk.
