Nursing Philosophy
Care will be provided to our residents and their families in a respectful caring manner, within a safe environment which promotes independence and individuality. Incorporating best practice, we will enhance the quality of life for our residents by providing a holistic service which promotes empowerment and facilitates excellent patient outcomes.
The nursing team led by Adrian Ahern, Director of Nursing, providing person centered care for all our residents. The Nursing Team comprises of

Family participation in care is welcomed and encouraged. Family conferences are organised by the nursing staff with the multidisciplinary team. Nursing staff are always available to discuss resident’s needs with the resident and their family.
Leopardstown Park Hospital are working with the Irish Hospice Foundation CEOL (Compassionate End of Life) Programme. CEOL is a quality improvement programme that enables staff to deliver compassionate, person-centred end-of-life care to residents, their family members and staff. It is built around the needs of the individual, with the resident always at the heart of every decision. Good end-of-life care is about being supported to live well until you die.
