Caru Group Information Stand
The Caru Group set up an eye-catching display table outside the Concert Hall, sharing resources and encouraging colleagues to reflect on key questions such as:
-
What is Caru and how can I learn more?
-
What does the Caru Group at LPH do?
-
Who are the 15 members of the Caru Group?
-
Did you know we have 10 staff trained to facilitate End-of-Life Reflections?
-
Where is the Caru End-of-Life Box stored on your unit – and what’s inside it?
-
How do I complete an Advanced Care Directive?
-
How can I continue to grow my knowledge of palliative care?
Education Trolley on the Move
Throughout the week, the Caru Group also visited units across the hospital with the Education Trolley. This interactive initiative created a valuable opportunity for staff to explore resources, ask questions, and chat with Caru members in an informal, supportive way.
Thank You
The success of Palliative Care Week was made possible by the dedication of the Caru Group and the engagement of staff across the hospital. Together, we highlighted the importance of knowledge, awareness, and compassionate care.
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who stopped by the display, engaged with the Education Trolley, or took a moment to reflect. Your continued commitment makes a real difference for our residents, families, and colleagues.
