Leopardstown Park Hospital came alive with colour, creativity, and celebration on Wednesday, 29 October, as residents, staff, and volunteers gathered for our Halloween Gaia Event — a joyful fusion of nature, art, and community spirit.

The theme, “Gaia: The Spirit of the Earth,” inspired an afternoon filled with vibrant costumes, imaginative face paint, and nature-themed creativity that transformed the hospital into a celebration of life, beauty, and togetherness. The event featured music, dancing, and our much-loved Gaia Catwalk Parade, where staff and residents proudly showcased their stunning outfits inspired by the natural world.

A highlight of the day was the presence of RTÉ News Presenter Sharon Ní Bheoláin, who graciously joined us as guest judge for this year’s event. Sharon’s warmth, enthusiasm, and engagement made the day all the more special for residents and staff alike.

This year’s Non-Uniform Day Fundraiser was another resounding success, with all proceeds going directly to support resident activities and social inclusion events throughout the year. The incredible generosity and participation from all departments helped make this one of our most memorable events yet.
